Tickets and Braves

First, I just have a note about the $50 season passes I reported earlier this month: apparently you can still buy them for that rate off of the offical Six Flags website.

In other news, I had some company in town this weekend and did not make it to Six Flags. However, I did go to two Braves games this weekend. As of now, I am quite fed up of the team. One run in five games is simply beyond ridiculous for a decent Major League Baseball team. It seems the whole team has followed Andruw Jones’ cue and decided to go into a major slump. Just needed to say something about their atrocious play, two games of which I sat through.

I took a short video clip, then was told by security personnel that photos and videos cannot be taken outside the park; they can be taken inside it only. Quite a shock to me since I have probably taken at least 75 or so the past two weekends. (more…)

However, when you get to the parking toll booth, the parking attendant will tell you that the cost to park is $15… the parking rate has increased to a new high in 2007. That $15 will merely get you into the general lot; premium parking, which is closer to the main entrance gate, is yet another five dollars more. $15 will get you into premium parking at many of the other chains, and this is easily the highest rate I have encountered at any chain (more…)
