The 2008 Six Flags Over Georgia operating season is quickly approaching as the park opens March 1st. I hope to make it to the park either that Saturday or Sunday. I know the site got pretty much abandoned during the middle of the summer last year. Hopefully that does not turn out to be the case this season, and the site will grow and expand.

  New photos of the Georgia Scorcher and Deja Vu have been added to the gallery.

  And, if you did not know, the Georgia Scorcher was repainted this off season. It is once again a bright yellow. One change is that the rails were painted yellow as opposed to silver (or unpainted) as before.

   Welcome to Six Flags over Georgia Guide, a blog dedicated to the news, happenings, and more at the Atlanta area theme park. There should be pretty frequent photo and general park updates. I am going to try to go at least for a few hours every weekend. Since I have a 8-5 job this summer, I probably will not be able to make it on the weekdays.

  Eventually, this site will expand into a full fledged site like BGTGuide.com, one of my other websites. For the time being, a blog is just something easier to update.
